What Is An Anterior Structural Displacement?
The PRIMARY STRUCTURAL BREAKDOWN of the BODY is known as the ANTERIOR STRUCTURAL DISPLACEMENT (ASD). This happens when the upper portion or your spine is displaced anterior (forward) relative to the lower portion.
ANTERIOR is an anatomical term that means forward. STRUCTURAL is a term that refers to your body’s inner structural framework (primarily the spine) and DISPLACEMENT is a term that means the structure is misaligned (specifically by rotating anteriorly (forward) out of place. You can think of a structural displacement much like a shift in the foundation of your house causing your doors to stick or a shift in the alignment of the frame of your car causing your tires to wear out prematurely.
PRIMARY is a term that means the FIRST thing that happens and BREAKDOWN (due to the anterior structural displacement) is a term referencing how the structure compensates by twisting over time if you develop and do not have an ANTERIOR STRUCTURAL DISPLACEMENT corrected. THE ANTERIOR STRUCTURAL DISPLACEMENT is what leads to the COMPENSATORY STRUCTURAL TWIST.
What Is A Compensatory Structural Twist?
The SECONDARY STRUCTURAL BREAKDOWN of the Body is known as the COMPENSATORY STRUCTURAL TWIST. This is an area of increased mechanical stress.
COMPENSATORY is an anatomical term that means your structure adapts (compensates)-in this case, by twisting or rotating to the left or right . The left or right compensatory breakdown of the spine was verified by over one hundred thousand digitally analyzed x-rays utilizing over one million data points. STRUCTURAL is a term that refers to your body’s inner structural framework (primarily the spine). TWIST is a term that means the structure has been rotated or torqued. A COMPENSATORY STRUCTURAL TWIST is what results when your structure rotates to the left or the right to prevent your body from literally falling over forward as a result of the ANTERIOR STRUCTURAL DISPLACEMENT.
SECONDARY is a term that means it is the secondary thing that happens and BREAKDOWN (due to compensation) is a term reference how the structure worsens over time if you develop and do not have an ANTERIOR STRUCTURAL DISPLACEMENT corrected. A COMPENSATORY STRUCTURAL TWIST is what leads to SECONDARY CONDITIONS.
