Under the About section from The American Chiropractor LinkedIn page, they report it is, “The leading chiropractic magazine in this niche market, with over 42 years of presence in chiropractic, mailing to 50,000 chiropractors each and every month.
Balhara (2012), “Indexed journals are considered to be of higher scientific quality as compared to non-indexed journals” (p. 1). Further, “Medicus has been the most comprehensive index of medical scientific journal articles. It is being published since 1879” (p. 1). Additional indexed publication databases include MedLine, PubMed, EMBASE, SCOPUS, EBSCO Publishing’s Electronic Databases, SCIRUS among others. There are various regional and national versions of Index Medicus such as African Index Medicus (p. 1).
